MATHEMATICS
The Department of Mathematics was established in the year 1980. The department is headed by Dr. Syed Babajan. The teaching staff of the department is well qualified and experienced. Dr. H Muneer Basha, is another professor with Ph.D. and Mr. Nazarulla Khan, is currently doing Ph.D. The department staff is involved in teaching the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The department is getting excellent results in university examinations and many students have scored 100 out of 100 marks. Also, the department staff is involved in the research activities.
About 10 research papers in various National /International journals have been published. Also the department staff is involved in other curricular & extra- curricular activities such as, organizing and attending National and International seminars/conferences. About 20 Conferences have been organized and attended by the department staff. The Department has planned to start R&D centre
