R&D Center
The Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering started the VTU approved Research Centre in the year 2004. It fuels innovation, energizes the educational environment, and helps companies and societies solve their greatest challenges of today’s world through technological empowerment.
GCE-EEE faculty continues a proud tradition of research and teaching in a high spirit. Their interdisciplinary approach to problem solving produces novel work, and advances ideas that improve the world.
Research Scholars are carrying out their Doctoral Programs in the areas of Power Systems, Power Electronics, High Voltage Engineering, Power Drives, Medical Electronics, Renewable Energy etc,. Faculty of the department and Research Scholars pursuing their Doctoral Programs have published over 70 research papers in National and International Journals and Conferences.
Ms. Salma Jabeen, awarded a Ph.D, degree by the Chancellor and Governor of Karnataka, Annual Convocation of VTU on 9th January 2018.
